Warranty Information
Standard 30-Day Manufacturers Warranty "Brett The Tech Guy" warrants that products purchased from "Brett The Tech Guy" shall be free from defects in material and workmanship for 30 days, beginning from the date of purchase. Except where prohibited by applicable law, this warranty is nontransferable and is limited to the original purchaser. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights that vary under local laws. If a warranty claim is made during that time, it must be processed through "Brett The Tech Guy". Remedies "Brett The Tech Guy" entire liability and your exclusive remedy for any breach of warranty shall be, at "Brett The Tech Guy" option, (1) to repair or replace the hardware, or (2) to refund the price paid, provided that the hardware is returned to "Brett The Tech Guy" with a copy of the sales receipt or dated itemized receipt. Shipping and handling charges may apply except where prohibited by applicable law. "Brett The Tech Guy" may, at its option, use new, refurbished, and or used parts in good working condition to repair or replace any hardware product. Any replacement hardware product will be warranted for the remainder of the original warranty period or thirty (30) days, whichever is longer or for any additional period of time that may be applicable in your jurisdiction. This warranty does not cover problems or damage resulting from (1) accident, abuse, misapplication, or any unauthorized repair, modification or disassembly; (2) improper operation or maintenance, usage not in accordance with product instructions or connection to improper voltage supply; or (3) use of third party components, such as video card, hard drive, DVD/CD drive/burner, memory, CPU, mother boards, power supply, LAN card, not supplied by "Brett The Tech Guy" except where such restriction is prohibited by applicable law.
Labor Warranty
12-Month Service Labor Warranty which covers service labor for one year and only includes services purchased from Brett P. Markley "Brett The Tech Guy" and excludes any parts not covered by the Standard 90-Day Manufacturers Warranty. Beginning from the date of purchase referred to in the invoice. Except where prohibited by applicable law, this warranty is nontransferable and is limited to the original purchaser. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights that vary under local laws. If a warranty claim is made during that time, it must be processed through "Brett The Tech Guy". Remedies "Brett The Tech Guy" entire liability and your exclusive remedy for any breach of warranty shall be, that "Brett The Tech Guy" with no additional labor charge to repair or replace the hardware, providing the customer pays the parts expense. "Brett The Tech Guy" may, use new, refurbished or used parts in good working condition to repair or replace any hardware product. Any replacement hardware product will be warranted for the remainder of the original warranty period or thirty (30) days, whichever is longer or for any additional period of time that may be applicable in your jurisdiction. This warranty does not cover problems or damage resulting from (1) accident, abuse, misapplication, or any unauthorized repair, modification or disassembly; (2) improper operation or maintenance, usage not in accordance with product instructions or connection to improper voltage supply; or (3) use of consumables, such as replacement batteries, or hardware such computer components not supplied by "Brett The Tech Guy" except where such restriction is prohibited by applicable law. We do not accept liability beyond the remedies provided for in this limited hardware warranty or for consequential or incidental damages, including, without limitation, any liability for third-party claims against you for damages, for products not being available for use, or for lost data or lost software. Our liability will be no more than the amount you paid for the product that is the subject of a claim. This is the maximum amount for which we are responsible. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you.
