About Brett The Tech Guy
I've been around electronics, computers, and a variety of electronically controlled machines my whole life. I started at a young age, by taking apart anything I ever owned, and over time obtained the skills and education it took to make a career out of it. I worked for two of the largest manufactures of robotics and machine automation companies in the world. As a Service Engineer at FANUC Robotics and as the Lead Senior Technician & Software Engineer at ABB INC. In addition to these amazing companies I've worked at one of the top CMM & CNC companies in the World as a Service Engineer at Tarus Products INC. I've also gained valuable third party repair experience as a Service Engineer at St-Lawrence-Troy LLC, repairing a variety of consumer and industrial electronics. I've held various other positions as well. At Nylok Fasteners I was a machine repair, setup, and operator technician. At Magnatek I was a service technician responsible to build the control boxes for their electromagnetic products. At Eaton Tool I was a stamping machine operator. With Lionel Trains technical repair, line leader, material handler, and shipping & receiving hand. At Great Lakes Woodworking I was lead shipping & receiving tech, install tech, delivery driver. At Patmai I was a deburring & buffing technician. At ITI I was a sprinkler installation & service technician. As a temporary at AMP I was a plastic mold injection machine operator. Last but not the least, at Arbor Drugs I was a cashier and material handler.
I've built and installed a variety of technological solutions, and earned a solid reputation for doing the job right the first time. I believe in cradle to grave support & service, which means from the creation to the obsolescence, I will be there to assist you. I pride myself in the quality of my work, I make sure that each solution performs up to your expectations and I provide clean, and professional service to keep your investments working at peak technological performance.
I started my business to mainly help some friends of my family. They had a couple of business computers that needed more storage and the ability to automatically backup their database. I wanted them to be able to have this as a business write off for their taxes. Maintaining business computers is definitely a business expense in my eyes! I intend on helping every one of my customers the same exact way, just as I would with my own family and friends. Having Brett The Tech Guy grow from referrals, and minimal advertising is a testament of the type of Service & Quality that I perform.
